Dosan Park, known as a central park in Gangnam, plays a significant role as a rest area.
“If you love your country, you should first work on being a solid human being. (a quote from Dosan).” Dosan Ahn Chang Ho, known for being one of Korea's greatest patriots, and a hero of the Korean independence movement during the Japanese era, was buried and commemorated in Dosan Park.

The park is a historic place where the grave of Dosan Ahn Chang-ho, one of the independence fighters during the period of Japanese Imperialism, is laid.
